Liverpool, Everton and Tottenham are hoping to sign Feyenoord central defenders Stefan de Vrij, 21, and Bruno Martins Indi, 20, as part of a £25m package.
Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure says he wants to stay at the club for the rest of his career. The 29-year-old has two years left on his contract and feels manager Roberto Mancini has worked out the best way to use him.

AND FINALLY
Cristiano Ronaldo, 28, may be one of the best players in world football but it seems the Real Madrid forward still dreams of being something else - a pilot.

Harry: Er sorry you have the wrong number
Spot on pal
However, the real news will be tomorrow when the mighty Bradford win the league cup and restore some pride back to West Yorkshire. Come on you Bantams!! (from a Sheffield Wednesday fan).
If so then the only way I can see them finding a new boss would be to hold an X Factor / the Apprentice style search for a new manager.
Every week they can audition 10,000 hopefuls, while Roman sits in an office behind his desk and sacks them all.
They could call it.... Toss Boss and Chelsea could hold the contest annually!
Don't take it personally.
Most so called 'fans' don't know anything about their own club. This is what is poor when it comes to commenting. Zero accountability.
If Chelsea want to sign De Gea (which I read the other day - not that I believe it) and they offered 25m then it is a good deal. Begovic is touted at 6m and he is better.
Hernandez should want to move for 1st team ftb'll.He won't
Chillax dude.
Not sure what I have made up? And after all, this is a gossip column, it's all made up ain't it?
I know a lot of City fans and they certainly think that Yaya is a divine gift. Not that City are a one man team but he does seem to be the catalyst when the chips are down, at Newcastle away last season for one
I got a hangover, and fear that there are a few more on the horizon.
swansea vs Bradford, was worthy of a 4th round match rather then a cup final. now that swansea are in Europe, every team will want to avoid them, they don't want a trip to Wales. maybe Ronaldo can fly them out with his pilot skills.
Liverpool take 1 step foward then 2 steps back, they are mid table club now. Henry go Newcastle!!
