New Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is set to make another major signing. City have already spent more than £90m this summer on Fernandinho, Jesus Navas, Alvaro Negredo and Stevan Jovetic, and Pellegrini now wants to sign Real Madrid's £15m-rated, 30-year-old defender Pepe.
Barcelona will make a £25m move for Chelsea's 26-year-old Brazilian centre-half David Luiz.

Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino is ready to battle West Brom for the signature of Manchester City winger Scott Sinclair, 24.
However, Everton remain the favourites to sign Sinclair, despite interest from the Midlands club and fellow Premier League side Stoke.
Cardiff are ready to rival neighbours Swansea with a bid for Espanyol defender Hector Moreno, 25.

Hull City manager Steve Bruce believes 25-year-old Ivory Coast striker Yannick Sagbo can have the same impact in the Premier League as Aston Villa's Christian Benteke, who scored 19 league goals in his first season in England. Sagbo completed a move to Hull from French side Evian on Friday.
New Norwich City signing Gary Hooper has targeted an England call-up. The 25-year-old striker joined the Canaries from Celtic for £5.5m on Friday.
Reading striker Pavel Pogrebynak, 29, is believed to want to cancel his contract and return to Russia with Rubin Kazan interested in signing him.
Chelsea fear they will not get a work permit for 17-year-old Bertrand Traore. The midfielder, a full international with Burkina Faso, has played as a trialist for the Blues during their pre-season matches in Malaysia and Indonesia.
Sunderland are believed to be considering a move for Brescia left-back Fabio Daprela, 24, if a deal with Valencia for Liverpool target Aly Cissokho falls through.
Chelsea forward Demba Ba has insisted that he will not try to quit the Blues should Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney join the Stamford Bridge club.
Sunderland boss Paolo Di Canio has described the playing surface at the Hong Kong Stadium as a "killer pitch". The final two games in the Barclays Asia Trophy are set to be played on Saturday but torrential rain could cause the matches to be cancelled.
Everton's unveiling of new signing Gerard Deulofeu, who has joined the club on a season-long loan from Barcelona, went wrong - after they spelt the 19-year-old striker's name wrong on the back of his shirt.
