Peter Odemwingie marked the three-month anniversary of his cruciate ligament operation by having a run on the pitch. The 33-year-old Stoke City forward, who is unlikely to play again this season, tweeted: "Big day for me today as I got to the three months mark and had my first run on the pitch since the op."

Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, 27, tweeted this after his side's 2-0 home defeat to Chelsea on Monday: "Tough loss tonight. But we gave it a good go against a top side! On to the next one."
