David Harry has been appointed as the new chief executive of the Guernsey Sports Commission.
He replaces Tim Newenham, whose three-year tenure has come to an end, and will take up the role on 1 April.
Harry has been an administrator with Guernsey's Commonwealth Games Association, as well as local cycling.
"His extensive sporting pedigree coupled with his relevant business experience makes him the ideal candidate," said chairman Stuart Falla.
"We are fortunate that we will be able to retain the services of Tim Newenham as a coach consultant over the next few years.
"I am certain that David and Tim will work very well together to continue to improve and expand the work of the Commission."
