Bayern Munich pair Pepe Reina and Xabi Alonso enjoyed watching Friday's solar eclipse with the use of some special glasses. Goalkeeper Reina posted a picture of himself and midfielder Alonso on his twitterexternal-link page, with the message "What a pair of 'smileys' but beautiful eclipse!".

Liverpool's players also could not resist wearing the special glasses to look at the eclipse and the club tweetedexternal-link pictures of midfielders Lucas and Lazar Markovic along with defenders Dejan Lovren and Mamadou Sakho looking skywards.
