Bayern Munich pair Pepe Reina and Xabi Alonso enjoyed watching Friday's solar eclipse with the use of some special glasses. Goalkeeper Reina posted a picture of himself and midfielder Alonso on his twitter page, with the message "What a pair of 'smileys' but beautiful eclipse!".
Liverpool's players also could not resist wearing the special glasses to look at the eclipse and the club tweeted pictures of midfielders Lucas and Lazar Markovic along with defenders Dejan Lovren and Mamadou Sakho looking skywards.
