The Cornish Sharks sealed their fourth win of the season after a comprehensive 38-7 victory over Bristol Apache.
After falling behind to a Paul Stanley touchdown, the Newquay-based side rallied with their own touchdown from Lee Ambridge.
The Sharks took a 24-7 lead in the third quarter, courtesy of Ollie Essex and Adam Kevern.
Rich Howlett and then Ambridge with his second touchdown secured the victory for the hosts.
Sharks' Quarterback Nathan Beaman told BBC Radio Cornwall: "It was tough, Bristol are a good team and they have got a good defence."
"The protection in front of me was good and the guys in front of me managed to block well."
The result means the Cornish Sharks remain third in Division 2 West of the British American Football Community League.
Their next game is against leaders Berkshire Renegade on Saturday, 9 July.
