Cornish Sharks boss Brian Smallworth has said long away trips are helping to make his side a stronger outfit.
Five of the American Football team's seven matches so far have been away, with another trip to Bournemouth Bobcats coming up on Saturday.
"This year we've been on the road a lot," Smallworth told BBC Cornwall.
"We've done our hard graft on the five and six hour journeys to Wales and Reading and I think those journeys bring the team together."
The Sharks beat the Bobcats by 36-6 earlier in the season and will be looking for a good performance before next weekends encounter with league leaders Berkshire Renegades.
Bournemouth are currently second from bottom in Division Two West of the BAFA Community League, having won only two of their six matches.
The Sharks are third, with four wins from six matches, with two defeats.
