Jersey archer Lucy O'Sullivan won silver in the women's compound at the Island Games, helping Jersey to a team bronze in the process.
O'Sullivan scored 1,343 - the same total as third-placed Sarah Rigby from the Isle of Man.
The individual gold went to fellow Isle of Man competitor Aailin George.
The Faroe Islands won the team title, with Shetland in second and the Jersey team of O'Sullivan, Shayne Munday and Daniel D'Orleans claiming bronze.
O'Sullivan, a former Miss Battle of Flowers in Jersey, said: "I was really happy for the girl who came first. I, however, didn't shoot my best.
"I was leading until just after lunch and then she just managed to pip me, so it was a good competition."
