Guernsey's Louise Perrio has defended her Island Games 5,000m title to win her second gold in the Isle of Wight.
Perrio finished just over 10 seconds quicker than Bjork Herup Olsen, from the Faroe Islands, in 17 minutes, 29.77 seconds.
The Isle of Man's Rachael Franklin came in nearly 15 seconds after Olsen to take the bronze.
The Guernsey athlete ran more than seven seconds quicker than her gold winning run in the 2009 Aland games.
Earlier in the week Perrio took the 10,000m title.
She said: "It kind of went to one of our plans, the Aland girl [Johanna Kahlroth] took it out really hard again like she did in the other race, but too hard.
"By the time we got to a mile the pace was really slow so I thought I'd do something and no-one came with me.
"That's a bit scary because you're stuck on your own at the front and you don't really know what's going on behind you, you just have to keep going - and hope!"
