Joe Thomas has boosted his chances of selection for the Great Britain team for London 2012 with a Welsh indoor 800m time.
Thomas finished in a Welsh record time of of 1:46:33 in Stockholm and fourth in a race won by Eithiopia's Mohamed Aman.
The record sees Thomas move to seventh in the World Rankings.
The 24-year old has edged ever closer to the record, having amassed six consecutive personal bests this season.
Thomas' next big test will come in the World Indoor Championships next month in Istanbul.
