Ciara Mageean continued her build-up to the European Championships by finishing fifth in the 800 metres at Thursday's Gothenburg Grand Prix.
In a slow tactical race, Mageean clocked a season's best of 2:05.13 which left her .47secs behind winner home athlete Viktoria Tegenfeldt.
The Portaferry athlete did manage to finish ahead of Australian Olympic hopeful Zoe Buckman.
Mageean will chase the Olympic 1500m standard at the Europeans in Helsinki.
The 20-year-old set her personal best of 4:07.45 last summer and need to run 4:06.00 to qualify for the London Games.
Buckman ran an Olympic qualifying standard of 4:05.06 last year and has run 4:07.52 for the distance this season.
Norway's Ingvill Makestad Bovim [2:04.71], Austria's Pamela Marzendorfer [2:05.00] Denmark's Rikke Ronholt [2:05.10] also finished ahead of Mageean in Gothenburg.
