UK Athletics boss wants more success

Newly appointed UK Athletics performance director Neil Black says he can already see room for improvement, as UKA head coach Charles van Commenee prepares to step down in December.

Black has been involved with Britain's top athletes for more than 20 years and was formerly UKA's head of sports science and medicine.

Van Commenee will leave when his contract expires, after GB missed his pre-Games target of eight medals, but Black says he does not have a specific time scale to recruit his replacement.
