Olympic and world champion Mo Farah is targeting victory on his return to the Great North Run after finishing second last year.
The 31-year-old, who won 5,000m and 10,000m gold at London 2012 and Moscow 2013, lost to Ethiopia's Kenenisa Bekele over the half marathon course.
Organisers of the race this Sunday have said it is set to feature the one millionth finisher of the Great North Run since the event began in 1981.
