Scottish athletes Eilidh Child and Lynsey Sharp expressed their delight after finishing high up the standings in this year's Diamond League.
Child was third in the 400m hurdles at the final event in Brussels to give her second in the overall standings.
"Great end to the Diamond League series tonight, delighted to have finished 2nd overall!" said Child in a tweet.
Sharp was third overall in the 800m after finishing joint-second with overall champion Eunice Jepkoech Sum.
And Sharp tweeted after her event on Friday:"Close finish tonight! 2nd just outside my PB in 1.58.94. 3rd overall in the #diamondleague Who would have thought!"
Both Child and Sharp claimed silver medals at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and followed that with more success at the European Championships in Switzerland where Child took gold and Sharp won silver.
On Saturday, Sharp and Child finished second and third, respectively, behind Christine Ohuruogu in the 500m at the Great North CityGames in Newcastle.
"It's been such a great year," Child told BBC Sport afterwards. "I'm absolutely delighted."
And Sharp added: "It's been an amazing summer."
