Continental Cup: James Dasaolu wins 100m in 10.03 secs

Great Britain's James Dasaolu won the men's 100m final at the IAAF Continental Cup in Marrakech.

Dasaolu crossed the line in 10.03 seconds ahead of the USA's Mike Rodgers in second and Qatar's Femi Ogunode, who finished third.

Dasaolu's victory earned eight points for Europe in the inter-continental competition.

Meanwhile, Britain's Eilidh Child finished second in the women's 400m hurdles final.

The Scot was unable to catch the season's dominant athlete Kaliese Spencer, finishing behind the Jamaican in a time of 54.42 seconds.

Lynsey Sharp finished fifth in the women's 800m final in a time of 2.00.80 seconds, with Kenya's Eunice Sum taking the victory.

Martyn Rooney came seventh in the men's 400m with a time of 45.93 seconds.
