Sarah Mercier wins 2015 Hampshire cross-country title

Guernsey runner Sarah Mercier has won the Hampshire cross-country championships for the first time.

The 24-year-old, who won the county title by 21 seconds from Aldershot's Louise Small.

Louise Perrio was fourth, while Natalie Whitty was sixth as Guernsey took team silver over the 8,000m course.

Richard Kowenicki was fourth in the men's event, with Alan Rowe the first man home in the over-45s event.
