Cherry Alexander named World Championships' managing director

Cherry Alexander has been named managing director for the London 2017 IAAF and IPC World Athletics Championships at the Olympic Stadium.
Alexander, who is UK Athletics' head of international and televised events, played a key role in the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic athletics programme.
Championships director Niels de Vos said: "Her experience of staging major athletics events is second to none."
She leads the organising team for the Anniversary Games at the same venue.
The Anniversary Games, part of the IAAF Diamond League series, will take place from 22-23 July.
