NFL: Kansas City Chiefs fans break world crowd noise record
Kansas City Chiefs fans break the world crowd noise record for an outdoor stadium during their NFL game against the Oakland Raiders.
Adjudicator Philip Robertson, from the Guinness Book of Records, said the crowd achieved a level of 137.5 decibels. To put that in perspective, a jet engine measured from 100 feet away registers 140 decibels.
The atmosphere is clearly proving to be an asset to the Chiefs, who have won their first six games of the season.
