Sue Barker presents highlights of the 31st Great North Run, the most famous half-marathon in the world.
This year's event is the largest-ever, with 39,953 people pounding the streets including elite athletes and thousands of charity runners raising millions for good causes.
The 2012 race is started by gold medal-winning British Olympians Mo Farah, Greg Rutherford and Ellie Simmonds.
