Paula Radcliffe criticises marathon world record 'farce'

Paula Radcliffe does not understand why the IAAF have ruled that her marathon world record should no longer be recognised as such, but says she will not "waste energy stressing about it".

The British runner's record in the 2003 London Marathon will now be referred to as a 'world's best', after athletics world governing body decreed that only times from all-female competitions will be acknowledged as records.
