Sights and sounds of the 2012 Great North Run
BBC Sport takes a look at the highlights of the 31st Great North Run, where Kenya's Wilson Kipsang triumphed in the men's race and Ethiopian Tirunesh Dibaba was the fastest woman.
Kipsang won a thrilling sprint finish in a time of 59 minutes and six seconds, while Olympic 10,000m champion Dibaba won in 1:07.35 on her half-marathon debut.
In the biggest ever Great North Run, 39,953 people crossed the start line as Olympians Mo Farah, Greg Rutherford and Ellie Simmonds started the race.
