Whitlock wins European silver

Great Britain's double Olympic bronze medallist Max Whitlock wins silver at the European Gymnastics Championships in Moscow.

The 20-year-old came second in the men's all-around competition behind Russian David Belyavskiy.

Whitlock recorded an overall score of 89.106, slightly short of his qualifying score of 89.365.

Afterwards Whitlock told BBC Sport that he 'wanted to prove himself as an all-rounder' after his success in the team and pommel horse events at London 2012.
