Donna Hartley powers to victory in the 400m at the 1978 Commonwealth Games in Edmonton, Canada.
During her athletics career she also ran under her maiden name Donna Murray and later became Donna Hartley-Wass.
As well as her Commonwealth 400m title, she won gold in the 4x400m relay. She also won bronze at the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow for the 4x400m relay and was also made an MBE by the Queen in 1979.
Hartley-Wass died on Friday at the age of 58.
