Great Britain's Eilidh Child qualifies for the 400m hurdles final, but Meghan Beesley fails to make it through her semi-final at the World Athletics Championships in Beijing.
Child finished third in her semi-final, going through as one of the two fastest losers in a time of 54.80 seconds. Beesley also finished third but her time of 55.41 was not good enough to see her through.
Zuzana Hejnova of the Czech Republic qualified fastest in a time of 54.24, with the final taking place on Wednesday at 13:10 BST.
