Nicola Adams 'pinching herself' after being made an MBE

Olympic gold medallist Nicola Adams has been made an MBE in the 2013 New Year Honours list.

Adams, who grew up in Leeds, became the first female boxer to win an Olympic gold medal when she outclassed China's Ren Cancan in the women's flyweight final at this summer's Games.

Nicola Adams told the BBC that the honour was "fantastic".
