World Amateur Championships: Selby beaten in semis

Welsh flyweight Andrew Selby loses a narrow points decision to Jasurbek Latipov of Uzbekistan in the semi-finals of the World Amateur Championships in Kazakhstan.

Despite leading going into the final round, 24-year-old top seed Selby - who beat Latipov at the same stage two years ago - was "unlucky" to be beaten, according to BG Boxing performance director Rob McCracken.

Irish light heavyweight Joseph Ward was comfortably out-pointed in his semi-final by defending champion Julio Peraza of Cuba.
