'The brain does not regenerate' - Doctor's concern at rugby's dementia crisis

Former IRB medical advisor and ex-Ireland international Dr Barry O'Driscoll adds his voice to those calling on rugby authorities to act in order to further prevent the likelihood of brain damage among players in later life.

Eight former players are in the process of starting a claim against the game's authorities for negligence, having all recently been diagnosed with early signs of dementia, and they say repeated blows to the head are to blame.
