Canoeing: Science and technology combine to boost Olympic hopefuls

The Lee Valley White Water Centre in Hertfordshire was home to the canoe slalom event at London 2012 and it remains the training base for the British team.

BBC Look East takes a look at the technology and the coaches who put GB's Olympic hopefuls through their paces.

The course is 300m long, contains 13,000 cubic metres of water and flows quickly enough to fill 75 bathtubs every second.
