Kent's Geraint Jones unhappy over use of pink ball

Kent captain Geraint Jones feels his team has been forced into using the pink ball against Glamorgan and says he is upset they were not consulted about the experiment.

The former England wicketkeeper says he does not disagree with the use of the new ball in principle but doesn't like the process that lead to the decision.

The move is part of an International Cricket Council proposal to introduce day-night Test matches and Test playing nations have been asked to use the new ball in their four-day competitions to ensure it is up to the required standard.
