ICC cricket award a proud moment - Alastair Cook

England one-day-international captain Alastair Cook describes his International Cricket Council award for Test player of the year as a "proud moment" in his career.

Cook adds that it is an "exciting" time for English cricket as team-mate Jonathan Trott is named cricketer of the year.

The Essex batsman says that despite England's recent success there is still plenty of hunger to build on the legacy they have started.
