Shivnaire Chanderpaul is a legend - Karl Krikken

Derbyshire head coach Karl Krikken tells BBC East Midlands Today that new signing Shivnarine Chanderpaul is a legend and says his experience will be invaluable to the younger players.

The 38-year-old West Indies batsman, who has scored more than 10,500 Test runs at an average of 51.67, has signed a two-year contract.

And Krikken says Chanderpaul's arrival shows the club's intent to challenge for trophies following their promotion to Division One of the County Championship.
