Ashes 2013: Jonathan Trott rues missed batting opportunity
Jonathan Trott rues a missed opportunity as England produce another poor batting performance on the first day of the fourth Ashes Test against Australia at Durham.
Having won the toss, England reached 149-2 before Kevin Pietersen's dismissal sparked a collapse that saw seven wickets fall for 65 runs.
The hosts, who have yet to pass 400 in the series, closed on 238-9 as Tim Bresnan and James Anderson counter-attacked in the final few overs of the day.
England number three Trott, who made 49, backs the decision to bat first and says it is not clear yet what a good score on the wicket is, but acknowledges that the hosts are "behind" after day one.
