Ashes 2013: Shane Watson says bump helped him to Test century

Australian batsman Shane Watson says the blow to his neck helped him to overcome the "nervous nineties" and go on to score 176 in the first day of the final Test at the Oval.

Watson dismantled a new-look England attack to blast his first Ashes century and put Australia in a commanding position in the Test match, reaching 307-4 at the close of play.

The number three batsman went on to admit that he was "surprised" by England's selection as he was "expecting" Chris Tremlett to be involved in the squad.
