Harmison defends Pietersen after 'arrogant' accusations

Former England Bowler Steve Harmison has leapt to the defence of Kevin Pietersen - after an Australian newspaper printed a headline stating "He's so arrogant not even his own team likes him".

Pietersen sent back a lighthearted response on Twitter that putting him on the front page had "done wonders" for his ego.

The journalist in question, Ben Dorries, told BBC Radio 5 live's Tony Livesey that it was just "a bit of fun" and should not be taken seriously.

However Harmison failed to see the funny side, claiming: "He's a valued member of that team... Alastair Cook wouldn't bring him back if he didn't think that."
