Phil Simmons says 'cold Clontarf' can unsettle Sri Lanka
Ireland coach Phil Simmons is hoping for chilly conditions as his team begin their two-match one-day series against Sri Lanka in Dublin on Tuesday.
Sri Lanka have also rested a number of their big names so Simmons believes his team have a chance of upsetting the recent World Twenty20 winners.
"I don't think they will like the cold weather. I hope it is [even] a bit colder than it is today," said Simmons on Monday.
The sides meet in a further game at Clontarf on Thursday.
