Paul Stirling praises 'great team effort' after Ireland beat West Indies

Ireland's man-of-the-match Paul Stirling says his side's four-wicket triumph over the West Indies in their first match of the World Cup in New Zealand was the result of "a great team effort".

Stirling scored 92 to help guide the Irish to victory in their opening Pool B match.

"It's good to get the first win under our belts, but we've a lot more to do and to improve on," said Stirling.
