Mike Hesson: New Zealand have 'earned right' to play longer series

New Zealand coach Mike Hesson says his side have "earned the right" to play longer Test series following the Black Caps' improved form over the last 18 months.

The World Cup runners-up will play two Tests, five one-dayers and a Twenty20 international from 21 May to 23 June during a tour of England, but their coach thinks they could play longer series in the future.

"We're a developing side but we're playing some pretty good cricket," said Hesson.
