James Taylor deserves England chance - Alastair Cook

England captain Alastair Cook says Nottinghamshire batsman James Taylor has improved as a player since his last Test appearance three years ago, and deserves his chance against Pakistan.

Taylor has only played twice for England, his last Test appearance coming against South Africa in 2012.

Wicketkeeper Jos Buttler has been dropped for the third Test in Sharjah for Jonny Bairstow, but Cook says Buttler is not sulking over his omission.
