Ian Bell out, Mark Footitt in: James Whitaker on England's Test squad

England national selector James Whitaker discusses five key talking points following the announcement of England's Test squad for South Africa.

Among them are the omission of veteran batsman Ian Bell, Alex Hales' chances of opening the innings and the players who have missed out through injury.

Whitaker also sheds light on the selection of uncapped left-arm paceman Mark Footitt and the decision to give Adil Rashid the chance to play in Australia's Big Bash League, rather than taking him on tour as the second spinner.
