James Taylor: Steven Mullaney 'numb' at England batsman's heart condition
All-rounder Steven Mullaney says he and his Nottinghamshire team-mates feel "numb" after hearing that James Taylor has had to retire because of a serious heart condition.
Mullaney, who lived with the England batsman for two years, told BBC East Midlands Today that he and his colleagues felt "numb, shocked and gutted".
But he added: "We are delighted he is still with us because it could have been a hell of a lot worse.
"He had the world at his feet, but it's been taken away from him. But we will give him our full support."
