Hard work starts now - Brailsford

British cycling chief Dave Brailsford warns his squad that they must be prepared to put in plenty of "hard graft and grit" ahead of next year's World Cup and Olympic events.

Brailsford also praises Victoria Pendleton after she put on a "world-class" performance to win the keirin gold medal at track cycling's European Championships on Sunday.

However, Brailsford admits the male cyclists, including gold-medal winners Ed Clancy, Matt Crampton and four-time Olympic champion Chris Hoy, who quit the keirin event with a chest infection, have "a lot of work to do".
