Lizzie Armitstead has 'belief' to become world champion

Lizzie Armitstead says Saturday's women's road race at the World Championships in Spain is her best ever chance to become world champion.

The Commonwealth champion says her victory in Glasgow, during her most consistent season to date, has given her "genuine belief" that she will pull on the rainbow jersey in Ponferrada.

The Olympic silver medallist believes Dutch rider Marianne Vos, who has dominated the sport in recent years and pipped Armitstead to gold at London 2012, is not in great shape and is now "beatable".
