Mark Colbourne recovers from broken back to win paracycling medal

Mark Colbourne, who broke his back in May 2009 in a paragliding accident, has capped a remarkable two years of recovery with a silver medal at the Paracycling Road World Championships in Denmark.

The 41-year-old Welshman only took up the sport four months ago, having represented his country at volleyball prior to his injury.

He told BBC Sport's Ollie Williams the medal was "a dream come true" and dedicated it to his daughter, Jessica.
