Gallagher elated by 'surreal' MBE award

Paralympic gold medallist skier Kelly Gallagher describes being made an MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours List as "surreal".

The 29-year-old from Bangor in Northern Ireland and her guide Charlotte Evans were recognised with awards, which they will receive at Buckingham Palace.

The pair became the first competitors from Britain to win gold medals at a Winter Paralympic Games when they won the giant slalom event in Sochi in March.
