Oscar Pistorius: IPC will decide runner's future - Grey-Thompson

Baroness Grey-Thompson says it will be up to the International Paralympic Committee to decide if Oscar Pistorius will be allowed to compete in events again.

South African athlete Pistorius was given a five-year prison sentence after being convicted of culpable homicide for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, and has been banned from competing in IPC events until at least 2019 because of a suspension which mirrors his five-year jail term, even if he is released early.

Grey-Thompson, who won 11 Paralympic gold medals during her career as a wheelchair racer, believes it is "almost impossible" to predict whether Pistorius will want to compete again.
