Ellie Simmonds wants Glasgow crowd boost at World Championships

Paralympic champion Ellie Simmonds hopes swimming in front of a home crowd at July's IPC World Championships in Glasgow will boost British medal hopes.

Great Britain will take an 18-strong squad to Glasgow in July.

Simmonds, who achieved qualifying standards in the 200m medley and 400m freestyle in her S6 category at the weekend's trials at the Tollcross International Swimming Centre, wants the British public to come out and support the team as they did in London 2012.
