Julie Payne's bid to compete at 2016 Rio Paralympics
BBC Sport meets Julie Payne to learn more about her remarkable bid to compete at the 2016 Rio Paralympics.
In June 2012, Payne was diagnosed with Multiple System Atrophy, a degenerative disease which will eventually lead to her being unable to move anything but her eyes.
Undeterred, the 51-year-old qualified as a grade 4 Paralympic athlete last year and is now a member of the Team GB equestrian squad and hopes to defy her prognosis and compete in Rio.
