FEI World Cup: Simon Delestre wins in Verona

Frenchman Simon Delestre riding Hermes Ryan wins the fourth leg of the Longines FEI World Cup in Verona to put him top of the leaderboard after four rounds.

Veteran Ludger Beerbaum set the time to beat only to have it matched by world number 1 Scott Brash on Hello M'Lady, before 34-year-old Delestre leapt into first spot with a time just under half a second ahead.

Delestre now leads the series with 49 points, ahead of his compatriot, Penelope Leprevost, with 40.
