Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is pleased with his side's performance in the 3-2 win over Bolton but says they must defend better if they want to challenge for the title.
Mancini also suggests that Argentine striker Carlos Tevez has a future at the club after he came on as a 68th minute substitute.
"I think that he will continue to play for us," says Mancini. "But I don't think he is ready, he needs another week or 10 days to be ready."
Tevez has been agitating for a move away from Eastlands this summer, telling an Argentine TV show that Manchester is "small and wet" and that he would "not even return there on vacation".
