Liverpool opener against Wolves annoys Mick McCarthy
Wolves manager Mick McCarthy believes defender Roger Johnson was fouled by Liverpool striker Andy Carroll in the build up to the Reds' first goal in their 2-1 win at Anfield.
Kenny Dalglish's side went in front as Johnson headed the ball past his own keeper, moments after the defender had been "jumped into" by Carroll, according to McCarthy.
Liverpool went into the break 2-0 up thanks to a goal from Luis Suarez, but McCarthy says he was pleased with his team's response, culminating with Steven Fletcher scoring for Wolves.
